Electoral System

The battle over electoral reform will present all three main parties and their leaders with extraordinary dilemmas

Andrew Rawnsley\The Observer, Sunday 4 July 2010

Republican Party Comment

My comment04 Jul 10, 10:08am

Three points I don't see anywhere else

1. The referendum will be used by the voters to comment not on AV but on the LibDems. The referendum is their baby and If they are unpopular next May the voters will use the referendum to rub it in their face

2. A No vote will kill PR for a generation

3. Why do supporter of PR and AV like referendums so much. Referendums are FPTP
